Stichting Signaal Sosial

In 1998 Janssen de Jong Groep decided to donate the money normally spent on Christmas boxes to charity, mainly to fight poverty on Curacao. We support projects that help youngsters stay away from a life of crime by offering them the right education, food, better accommodation, after school day care etc. from an early stage. Stichting Signaal Sosial employs only dedicated and loving volunteers that have set their hearts to offering a better tomorrow for the children. ‘Projekto Un Futuro Briante’ (Project for a Better Future), Soto In 2011 we have started refurbishing a house in Soto. With his project, named ‘Projekto Un Futuro Briante’, we offer a shelter for children ages 0 to 12 between 7 AM and 7 PM. The children get three meals per day. The little ones can stay all day, while the older ones attend school during the day and return to the house in the afternoon. At the house they receive help with their homework and play sports and games. The house has been open since 2013 and already we see positive results with the children.
